The Diploma of Business (Procurement) is designed for people who are working and leading a small team. Completing the Diploma of Business (Procurement) will give you the skills and tools required to work effectively as a team leader, such as collaborating with others to meet project deadlines and budgets, planning, designing, applying, and evaluating solutions to handle unpredictable problems, as well as equipping you with the fundamentals of Leadership and Management to confidently lead your team.

By completing the Diploma of Business (Procurement), you will learn how people work and what motivates them, as well as how organisations operate. You will study financial management, including planning, implementing and managing budgets. Together we will analyse business strategies, and you will learn how to effectively manage and allocate resources (human and equipment) as well as how to develop and implement business policies for sustainability.

The Diploma of Business (Procurement) conveys to employers that the holder has practically demonstrated the skills and knowledge to work effectively as a procurement officer to satisfy the goals of the organisation/enterprise.

Entry Requirements

Ideally, participants should hold a Certificate IV in Business (Procurement). However, there are a number of other accepted qualifications. Many students enter this qualification without an existing qualification — experience within a procurement environment is an acceptable point of entry.

All enrolments last for 12 months. We find the majority of our students can complete in a shorter timeframe, and often see students complete within 4-8 months of enrolment. You can work through as fast as you want, as all our courses are fully self-paced.

Paid extensions are available if you need more than 12 months to complete – just email us at info@scopetraining.com.au for more information.

USI stands for Unique Student Identifier, and must be provided when undertaking any nationally recognised training. You will need to include your USI on your enrolment form when enrolling at Scope Training. 

If you’ve done any training since 2015 you may already have one; if not, you can apply for one before enrolling.
Your USI also gives you access to your USI VET Transcript – this is a government authenticated record of any VET training you’ve completed since 2015.
