This workshop covers the project lifecycle, giving participants practical insight into the critical knowledge areas of the Project Management Body of Knowledge. Participants will experience all facets of project management life cycle and be shown the tools and techniques needed to plan, develop and implement projects within their workplace.

Recommended Outcomes

On completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:

• Identify the skills, roles and responsibilities of the project manager and team members

• Define a project and develop a project plan

• Manage the scope of a project in the context of organisational strategy, schedules, budgets, risks and stakeholders to achieve agreed outcomes

• Apply scope management and guide the application of scope controls

• Estimate time outcomes and control project schedules, and determine, monitor and control project costs

• Develop individuals and teams into a cohesive project team to meet project objectives

• Manage project communications to aid decision making and the achievement of project objectives

• Apply risk management strategies and actions to monitor and control project risks

• Evaluate, finalise, review and close projects.
