Who is AIPM?

The Australian institute of Project Management (AIPM) is considered the peak project management body in Australia.  AIPM has grown to over 10,000 members since its incorporation in 1978 making it the largest and only national project management membership organisation for project management in Australia.

AIPM offer two forms of recognition

  1. Membership

The memberships are great for those wishing to align themselves to a professional body as well as receive member benefits.  Certain levels of AIPM membership allow the use of post-nominal which can prove useful for the attainment of employment or commercial opportunities.

  2. Certification

The AIPM certification or Registered Project Manager (RegPM) program allows current AIPM members the opportunity to be assessed on competencies reflecting different industry positions, such as; Project Team member, Project Manager and Project Director.  These provide tangible benefits as the individual is recognised the Institute as meeting the requirements to work at this level.  The AIPM RegPM certification allows individuals the use of post-nominal which can prove useful for the attainment of employment or commercial opportunities.
